Day in the Life:
Cristiano Ronaldo
At 35 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo is considered to be one of the greatest soccer players of all time. While many players have stepped down from their career at this age, he is still showing awe-inspiring performance. By the age of 22, the Portuguese superstar had received Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year nominations. The next year, in 2008, he followed up by winning the Ballon d’Or. Ronaldo is the first Portuguese footballer to win two FIFA Ballon d’Or awards, and the second player to win three European Golden Shoe awards. Furthermore, he has won three Premier Leagues with Manchester United and Real Madrid, one La Liga, one FA Cup, two Football League Cups and two Copas del Rey. Additionally, he was won one FA Community Shield, one Supercopa de España, two UEFA Champions Leagues, one UEFA Super Cup and two FIFA Club World Cups.
Ronaldo has an enormous love for fitness, and he is known for being one of the most physically fit football players in the world. The Portuguese star trains hard with a highly disciplined fitness regime and focuses highly on his sleep schedule. So what does he do in his everyday life to be known as the greatest of all time and achieve balance, and what keeps him on top of all other players in the league?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Daily Routine:
- 6 AM: Train
- 8 AM: Nap for 90 mins
- 9:30 AM: Breakfast ham and cheese, yogurt, and fruit juice
- 10:30 AM: Work out
- 12:30 PM: Nap
- 2:00 PM: Lunch of chicken and salad
- 3:00 PM: Nap
- 4:30 PM: Lunch #2 of tuna with salad, eggs and olives
- 7 PM: Dinner of meat or fish
- 8 PM: Time with family and friends
- 10 PM: Swim session
- 11 PM: Relax and go to bed
Cristiano Ronaldo and Family Life
Ronaldo was born on February 5th, 1985, as the fourth child of his mother, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and his father, José Dinis Aveiro in Funchal, an island of Madeira, Portugal. His father worked as a gardener, while his mother was a cook. Ronaldo grew up playing for an amateur team, Andorinha, before being signed by Sporting CP for 1,500 Euros after a three-day trial. He is now a father of four children with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez. The Portuguese star makes the best of his time by revolving his work around family time. He prioritizes time with them, yet simultaneously, he continues to do his work at home by incorporating workouts with his family and Georgina.
His Car Collection
The soccer superstar is said to be a huge petrolhead at heart. He is very passionate about cars, but not just any car; he is particularly into fast and fancy cars and just loves to flaunt his collection to his fans. As a matter of fact, he owns over 15 of the fanciest sports cars the world has to offer. In 2019, Forbes estimated his total earnings at $109 million, and that amount of cash means he can afford to indulge his love for flashy automobiles. He does have many choices to choose from!
Cristiano Ronaldo and His Passion for Fitness and NutritionÂ
Ronaldo is known for his athleticism, quickness and strength. Every day, he trains extensively, and he is immensely passionate about his diet, nutrition and a few other key success factors. He has about 6% body fat and mentions that a key factor to having a low body fat percentage is that you must train and eat healthily in order to reach your ideal physique. Specifically, he makes it a priority to divide his food intake into 6 smaller meals and spreads them out every 2 to 4 hours to control his body’s metabolic rate. Also, he finds it quite important to supplement his diet with a sufficient amount of protein, which is necessary for muscle repair. Furthermore, his training routine consists of working out three to four hours a day, five days a week.
Additionally, he sleeps close to eight hours a day, with several 90-minute naps throughout the day. Ronaldo has continuously inspired people all around the world since he first started. He maintains this mindset by believing that “Dedication, hard work all the time, and belief” are the keys to a balanced, successful life.
