Yaqub Mir is a UC San Diego Men’s Basketball Player while studying Data Science and Finance.
Yaqub Mir’s Daily Routine:
- 8:30AM: Wake up and stretch 🙆🏻♂️
- 9AM: Breakfast
- 10-12PM: Homework/class
- 12:30-2PM: Lift 🏋🏻
- 2PM: Lunch
- 3-5PM: Practice 🏀
- 5-7PM: Free time/ surf! 🏄🏻
- 8PM: Dinner 🌮
- 9PM: Stretch
- 10PM: Sleep 😴
What is the most important part of your daily routine?
Sleep. If I don’t get enough, it will hit me during the day and I can’t be as productive.
What is your #1 wellness habit?
I think eating as clean as possible. Trying to cut as many heavily processed and fried food especially.
What’s your biggest wellness challenge? How do you address it?
For me is hitting protein and calorie goals. I have a faster metabolism so I have to eat a lot more, especially when working out a lot during the day in order to gain muscle and weight.
