Dr. Colin Zhu has never regarded himself as “traditional” in the sense that he likes to look at things from multiple, diverse perspectives. Trained in Family Practice, he had learned the foundation of patient care. Osteopathy heightened his sense of connection with patients’ ailments. The culinary arts and health coaching elevated his palate for empowering people’s lives, not just maintaining their diagnoses.
Colin is the founder of TheChefDoc and an active member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, where he previously served as their affiliate vice president of development and executive board member for the professionals in training. Colin’s interests outside of medicine include triathlons, scuba diving and travel. He currently is a traveling doctor, assisting domestically and internationally with hopes of one day creating a center for wellness and lifestyle education.
