Tell us about a time you were stuck in an unhealthy cycle and how you got out of it. What was the main inspiration for positive change?

I used to eat mostly fast food and junk food in college because it was cheap and easy. I decided one day to quit cold turkey and I did. I also used to smoke a lot, I decided one day to quit cold turkey and I did that too.

If you could give one piece of health advice to your future kids, what would it be and why?

Don’t smoke, eat breakfast for lunch, have lots of sex with your partner, nap when you need to, prioritize your partner and children, take lots of time off, eat whole foods, enjoy life, integrate movement in your lifestyle, lift weights, be flexible, keep unhealthy people, places and things out of your life, and find a way to design your day that you’d be happy with for the rest of your life.
