I think almost anyone would trade a day in their life for a day in the life of any of the Kardashian/Jenner sisters. You may not like them, but you can’t deny the fame, wealth, beauty, etc. is extremely enticing.
What does it take to become a Kardashian? Maybe butt implants… or you could try to follow Khloé’s day and see how you feel before you partake in major surgery.
Khloé is a strong advocate for mental and physical well being. On the TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, her life traumas have been open for public viewing (i.e. her husband Lamar Odom’s drug abuse, their divorce, her fertility issues, Tristan Thompson’s infidelity, etc.). Through all of her struggles, she remains positive and utilizes multiple platforms that promote eating healthy, working out, and keeping a clear mind.
Khloé even wrote a book about her health transformation: Strong Looks Better Naked . She shares her secrets to finding strength in your body, mind, and heart.
“There is no such thing as perfect. Nobody attains perfection. But if you keep trying, you grow and evolve, and to me that’s the point: To be a better person today than I was yesterday; to become the best possible version of myself.”
Before getting into a day in the life of Khloé, here are four habits she believes everyone needs to live a healthy and happy life:
- Find inspiration. Khloé believes it is important to read motivational quotes every day. She says, “Ambition and drive don’t come out of thin air (or just your genetics). You have to strive for those traits, too.”
- Develop better coping mechanisms. Khloé is very honest about her battle with mental health. Having destructive coping mechanisms isn’t helpful for anyone. She proposes listening to music in a rocking chair, cuddling with a puppy, or a relaxing bath. Keep the promises you make to yourself. Even the little ones. Her motto is: “Remember, you are the most important person in your own life—even when you have kids, you have to put your oxygen mask on first, right?—so SHOW UP FOR YOURSELF!”
- Implement a solid morning and nighttime routine. Khloé argues that a solid schedule, even just for waking up and going to bed, will help you to develop healthy patterns.
Khloé outlines her morning and nighttime routine to the minute on her personal website , as well as exercise routines and lifestyle blog posts.
Typical Morning Routine
- 5:00 am- Wake up and brush teeth
- 5:07 am- Wash face, apply sunscreen, hair in a ponytail, and get dressed
- 5:13 am- Breakfast! Green tea, a banana, and Justin’s Peanut Butter Pack
- 5:20 am- Leave the house, get in the Range Rover, and blast music
- 6:00 am- Workout
Khloé believes it is extremely important to wake up early and exercise in order to start your day off right! She also likes to say a prayer as soon as she wakes up.
“Every day when I wake up, I like to say a prayer. It puts me in a very grateful state of mind. I think you can control your mood with the first 30 minutes of your day.”
Typical Nighttime Routine
- 10:00 pm- Grab a liter of water and drink as much as possible (she likes Smart Water or Essentia, for the pH balance)
- 10:06 pm- Begin skin care routine! Wash face at least three times using Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser, then mix La Mer face cream with Vitamin E for a face mask
- 10:10 pm- Brush teeth
- 10:12 pm- Get in bed and check emails
- 10:30 pm- Put the phone on silent
- 10:59 pm- Close the computer
- 11:00 pm- Lights out!
So what does Khloé do in between her morning and nighttime routines? Well, she films for Keeping Up with the Kardashians , started her own inclusive active apparel line “Good American”, and works towards her “revenge body” six days a week.
Khloé started a TV show called Revenge Body in January of 2017 that takes everyday men and women and has them go through an extensive workout and diet plan. She coined the phrase “revenge body” that refers to the end result of her program. Khloé wants her contestants to gain confidence in themselves and says the best revenge is looking and feeling your best.
Khloé has struggled with her body image all of her life. This is why she adopted her daily routines, workout plans, and dietary habits. She finally feels better in her own skin and wants to help others do the same.
“Of course, we all have bad days—but I think it’s really easy to talk yourself into being negative. So, I try to talk myself into happy and positive days!”
On her Instagram, she wrote:
“Sometimes it’s hard for me to post these transformation posts only because I can’t imagine my life being this unhealthy again. Never would I ever consider myself fat, but I would consider myself unhealthy mentally/physically and not knowing my true value. Mind, body, and soul…. Choose your life. Don’t let anybody else decide for you!”
Khloé wants everyone to understand that exercise isn’t just about how you look, but about how you feel.
Keeping a daily routine, repeating motivational messages to yourself, relaxing, and staying healthy are all vital to a balanced mind and body.
