Jeremy Dodson is a 2016 Olympic Track & Field sprinter for Samoa and cancer survivor, with a master’s degree in business and bachelor degrees in economics and neurophysiology.
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Jeremy competed collegiately at the University of Colorado where he was a four-time All-American and set Colorado records in the indoor and outdoor 200 meters. In 2005 Jeremy was named to the USA Today All-USA high school track and field team and Gatorade Colorado Athlete of the Year. Jeremy qualified for both the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games with Team USA, but competed under the flag of his mother’s native Samoa for 2016.
Jeremy also excels as a coach, helping state champions Niwot High School and other professional peers reach their peak. He was recently accepted into the prestigious World Athletics Center, joining an array of elite coaches from across the globe.
Jeremy strongly supports the Pediatric Hydrocephalus Foundation, a condition he struggles with due to a brain tumor. Jeremy underwent chemotherapy and radiation while still competing and qualifying for the World Championships and Olympics. Jeremy credits running and a healthy lifestyle for saving his life while living hydrocephalus.

- 6PM – Dinner!!!
- 7PM – Regeneration
- 9PM – Bed
What gets you out of bed every morning?
Knowing that it’s breakfast time!!!
What is the most important part of your daily routine?
Making sure that good food is incorporated as well as some form of regeneration, whether it is sleep, meditation, etc.
What is your favorite part about living a healthy lifestyle?
A healthy lifestyle can produce so much energy and clarity, which can lead to a lot more adventures and ideas!
What is your #1 wellness habit?
Healthy eating.
What is the best piece of health advice you’ve ever received?
Regeneration is important for better health. That involves food and sleep.
Whose “O” would you most love to see?
Any CEO with a lot of influence, such as Bill Gates, would be interesting.
Describe your sleep ritual.
Sleep routine is important. Same time every day, with a wake up time similar across the week. The ritual of tea and lighting can help to make the quality of sleep even better.
What’s your biggest wellness challenge? How do you address it?
The biggest challenge is falling into sugar cravings! I am a fiend for cookies and ice cream, but I know that my workout will be harder as a result. However, the timing of falling for those cravings are considered, as well as moderation! Life is too fun not to miss out…
