She also rock climbs in places such as Puerto Rico, Colorado and Nevada, practices yoga, experiments in art and photography, and is a big lover of nature and animals. Here are Harmony’s tips for reaching your personal peak.
What is your #1 wellness habit?
Knowing the importance of sleep for mind, body, focus and athletic recovery.
- 730AM – Wake Up
- 8AM – Breakfast and Coffee
- 10AM – Hike
- 1030AM – Unpack Climbing Gear and Climb
- 130PM – Protein Bar, Organic Apple, and Water
- 2PM – Climb Even Harder
- 5PM – Pack Up Gear and Hike Back
- 6PM – Dinner, Relax
- 11PM – Bedtime
Tell us more about your “O”.
My daily routine varies, but my most fun days are when I go rock climbing outside. Rock climbing is amazingly fun and takes me to the most beautiful destinations.
What is your favorite part about living a healthy lifestyle?
I notice a difference when I eat healthy and get quality sleep. I feel better mentally, physically, and I find that I look more rested and young when I am embracing healthy habits and sleeping well.
Describe your sleep ritual. Do you do anything special to prepare?
I go to bed around 11PM. I find that going to bed and waking up at the same time each day helps me fall asleep easily and wake up feeling well rested.
Tell us about a time you were stuck in an unhealthy cycle and how you got out of it. What was the main inspiration for positive change?
If I slip from my healthy habits, I just tell myself if I were healthy 364 days of the year it wouldn’t matter if I ate cookies and didn’t exercise on day 365. Point is, the more often you are good, the better. That motivates me to get back on track.
If you could give one piece of health advice to your future kid(s), what would it be?
Fit as much fresh produce into your diet as possible. Fruits and veggies are full of nutrients that make you look and feel your best.
One step at a time + Never give up = Accomplishment
There are many vegetables I like. Spinach is great. I eat leafy greens daily and love putting spinach in smoothies too.
Favorite Way to Center:
Slow deep breathing is always soothing. Or walking on the beach with the waves flowing over your feet.
