Look and feel more beautiful through Healthy Living

Danielle Cuccio is the CEO of Cuccio Somatology, a new breed of health and lifestyle business based in Los Angeles, California. Somatology, the study of the body, aims to improve health and wellness through healthy living. Cuccio Somatology works with clients through yoga practice, eating habits, as well as relaxation techniques such as meditation, to help attain a true holistic state of health and happiness.

Danielle is a registered yoga teacher and aesthetician. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Women’s Studies, determined to follow her passion of starting a business to help people look and feel more beautiful. After studying cosmetology as a post-graduate, she grew a stronger awareness that physical beauty is deeper than the skin – and that changing health and wellness habits can create beauty from the inside out.

Through somatology, Danielle considers a client’s diet, work environment, and exercise routines when evaluating her or his overall health and happiness. Danielle is dedicated to making her clients look and feel more beautiful, inside and out, through yoga, nutrition advice and overall lifestyle habits. To keep herself in shape, Danielle uses Owaves to structure her day and prioritize her own wellness and health.

What gets you out of bed every morning?

Work and helping people feel great!

What is the most important part of your daily “O”?

Starting my day with apple cider vinegar and a probiotic. My foundation of health begins with digestion. I also perform yoga twists that promote gut motility. Taking care of my digestion provides a foundation for me to take care of my whole body through diet and exercise.

What is the best piece of health advice you’ve ever received?

Being healthy shouldn’t be something you do once in a while or for a big occasion, it’s something you should be devoted to each day of your life.

What is your favorite part about living a healthy lifestyle?

How good it makes me feel!

Whose “O” would you most like to see?

Rachel Ashwell’s “O” – the owner of Shabby Chic Interiors, because I am inspired by what she has created and how she finds balance between work, relaxation and beauty.

If you could give one piece of health advice, what would it be and why?

Eat foods that taste amazing, but are also good for you. You don’t have to choose between the two. The possibilities are endless when you choose to eat healthy foods that also taste great.
