Born in Inglewood, California, Brittney Reese is an American long jumper who Gulfport High School where she became state champion in the long jump and triple jump. She has also impressively won both gold and silver medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games, and is a six-time world champion. Nicknamed “The Beast,” Brittney has the indoor American record for the long jump with a distance of 7.23 meters.

Brittney currently resides in San Diego, California, where she is an assistant track and field coach at Mesa College.

  • 9:00      AM: Getting ready for practice
  • 10:00    AM: Work out
  • 12:00     PM: Lunch
  • 1:30       PM: Nap
  • 3:00       PM: Spend time with son (homework, activities, etc.)
  • 6:00       PM: Dinner
  • 7:00       PM: Work on own homework

What gets you out of bed every morning?

Just knowing it is the start of a new day gets me motivated to get out of bed.

What is the most important part of your daily routine?

I would say the most important part of my daily routine is exercising.

Whose “O” (or day plan) would you most love to see?

I would love to see Lebron James’ daily plan. I think it would be great to see how he manages his busy schedule.

Describe your sleep ritual. What time do you go to bed?

I go to bed around 9pm and I listen to affirmations every night.
