What gets you out of bed every morning?
Knowing that I am alive, that I can use the day to make a difference in someone else’s life and that I have a purpose in life.
What is the most important part of your daily routine?
Sleep! Without sound sleep, the rest of my day feels off balance. Sleep positively affects all the other parts of my day and it is the best!
Whose “O” would you most love to see?
I would love to see Michelle Obama’s O because she is a busy lady and I would love to see how she keeps her life in balance!
What is your #1 wellness habit?
Practicing gratitude, especially in times of stress.
What is the best piece of health advice you’ve ever received?
It is a privilege to be able bodied – nourish yourself and live a fulfilled life.
What’s your biggest wellness challenge? How do you address it?
Sometimes I lack motivation to run or get active. When this happens, I sign up for a race to get me back in the routine. When I feel I am in a big rut, I sign up for something big and scary, like a new distance or terrain to conquer. Then I step up to the challenge and things done.
If you could give one piece of health advice what would it be?
You are worthy of happiness. We live in a negative world with triggers that make people feel like they are not enough. We are all enough and we are all worthy of living fulfilled lives.
