What gets you out of bed in the morning?
So much to do and the opportunity to help others improve their health and healing potential.
What is the most important part of your daily routine?
Going to bed on time is a strong determinant of how the next day will go.
What is your favorite part about living a healthy lifestyle?
I love how a healthy lifestyle optimizes my emotional and spiritual balance. It centers me in ways that prevent me from being distracted or even overwhelmed by life’s stresses and the expectations of others. It gives me a sense of satisfaction that is unobtainable simply through monetary gain or even professional success. A healthy lifestyle allows me to find real joy and happiness in the smaller things of life and buffers my natural tendency to prove myself to others.
What is your #1 wellness habit?
Quick to forgive others and myself.
What is the best piece of health advice you’ve ever received?
When someone criticizes you, smile and thank them for their advice.
Tell us about a time you were stuck in an unhealthy cycle and how you got out of it. What was the main inspiration for positive change?
When feeling burned out and depressed, I find that forcing myself to get to bed by 10PM and then getting up for at least 20 minutes of exercise outside in the early morning sun, will reset my physical and spiritual passion for life.
If you could give one piece of health advice to your child, what would it be and why?
People who think they are optimally healthy and without any health risk, only think so because they haven’t taken the time to do the appropriate lab and health tests. 🙂
