Sohaib Imtiaz, M.D., MPH is a board-certified physician in lifestyle medicine from the United Kingdom who ranked among the top 10 students nationally in statistics, business studies, and information technology. He focuses on lifestyle medicine while exploring technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Sohaib chose to study in his hometown of Manchester in order to prioritize his well-being and relationships. He believes in prevention and in ‘Supra-Health,’ the ability to optimize our health.

What is the most important part of your daily routine?
Going to David Lloyd Health and fitness clubs for a workout session.
What is your #1 wellness habit?
Eating at least 5 fruit and vegetables every single day of my life.
What is the best piece of health advice you’ve ever received?
Be consistent and keep adding healthy habits over time. Learn to optimise your health and use wearables and data to track your your performance.
What is your favorite part of living a healthy lifestyle?
You feel great, look good, have energy, and it improves your cognitive performance.
What’s your biggest wellness challenge? How do you address it?
Reducing stress due to work in the hospital and the long shifts. I try and take breaks and make sure I’m laughing with my colleagues during the day to help keep my cortisol levels low.
If you could give one piece of health advice to your future kids, what would it be and why?
Despite working and studying, try and master sleep, nutrition, exercise and socializing. You will feel better, look better, and think better.
