As a young leader in the fields of Preventive Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, she has a devout passion for teaching and prescribing health-oriented medical interventions while at the same time promoting the power of mindfulness in health care. Born and raised a Denver native, Regan is excited to be back in her home state to further pursue her career and calling in Preventive and Lifestyle Medicine, while exploring the surrounding nature Colorado has to offer…

What is the most important part of your daily routine?
Taking 20 seconds with my husband every morning to simultaneously recite out loud a nice, simple good juju prayer in honor of Nature, the pleasure of existence, and the honor of waking up to another new day. Our love note goes like this:
“Dear Nature, we are grateful for your work, we love you and we want to be in harmony with you.”

How much fun it is to help others who are eager to learn about optimizing their own health blossom into lifestyle medicine champions, and to see how good they feel as a result!
What is the best piece of health advice you’ve ever received?
“Whether you think you can or can’t, either way, you are right.” – Henry Ford
What is your biggest wellness challenge? How do you overcome it?
I’ve always had an incessant sweet tooth for gummy and sour candy! So, I’ve found the most effective approach to tempering that less-than-healthy habit is to swap out other similar tasting options like granny smith apples, dried natural fruit, or 100% fruit leathers, which offer either the gummy, sour, or tangy texture that I crave, but in a much healthier, and more fiber-rich medium.
If you could give one piece of health advice to your future kids, what would it be and why?
