Day in the Life:
Elyse Wagner, MS, CN, LMHCA is known to inspire and motivate grounding habits. She is a Certified Nutritionist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with a dual Masters degree in Nutritional Sciences and Clinical Health Psychology from Bastyr University. She has a deep love for bringing diet and emotions together in order help her clients understand that empowering benefits of creating reliable changes in their behavior. She started her journey in 2012 where she guided people to creating better relationships with their food by viewing how their attitudes and feelings can affect food decisions.
This active woman also has found a way to earn herself an undergraduate degree from the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison in Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics. She has been to a lot of continuing educational trainings from the Institute for Functional Medicine to further her understanding of wellness health. She has authored two books Functional Medicine Coaching: How to Be Part of the Movement and Smoothie Secrets Revealed: A Guide To Enhance Your Health.

Grounding and meditating before I do anything else.

I can share it with everyone and be a role model.
Describe your sleep ritual. What time do you go to bed? Do you do anything special to prepare?
10 or 11PM… Listen to deep relaxation audio track. Diffuse eucalyptus oil. Drink nettle tea. Write down my gratitude for the date.
Tell us about a time you were stuck in an unhealthy cycle and how you got out of it. What was the main inspiration for positive change?
Grounding in my why – addressing if it was benefiting me to stay in it or out of it and being mindful of making the changes necessary.
If you could give one piece of health advice to your kids, what would it be and why?
You have all the answers and intuitively know what to do. That is a skill, refine it daily.
