Day in the Life:
Khadevis Robinson — known as KD to most — is a 2X USA Olympian, 8X National Champion Division I Collegiate Coach, motivational speaker, and a mentor. Khadevis’ story is not just about athletic success. It’s a story of faith, hope, family, and friends. A story of self-discovery and self-worth. Above all, it is a story of setting your goals high and never letting them go, no matter what life throws at you.
Khadevis always performs with the heart of a champion, using the lessons he learned about life from his family, friends, and the spirit of track competition. He traveled the world competing in international and world class events and represented the USA and USOC in the World Championships and the Olympics. He contributes to the US Olympic Committee as well as staying close with the USATF, and alumni groups from TCU and Cal State LA.
Today, KD uses everything he has learned to inspire and motivate children and adults alike through- education, track and field camps, clinics, and lectures as a performance coach. He co-founded a non-profit called The Youth Track and Running Club (YTRC), training and coaching coaches for many years. He remains an active member of the board.
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is currently the Assistant Coach at Louisiana State University (LSU) for Track and Field.

- 5AM — Wake Up
- 530AM – Breakfast & Reading
- 6AM – Exercise
- 730AM– Shower & Get Ready for Work
- 9AM – Work
- 1130AM – Lunch
- 1230PM – Work
- 5PM – Exercise Round II
- 6PM – Dinner with Family
- 7PM – Family Time
- 830PM – Bedtime

What gets you out of bed every morning?
My goals. I am obsessed with accomplishing my life goals.
What is your #1 wellness habit?
Exercise. I just feel that the benefits are unlimited.
What is your favorite part about living a healthy lifestyle?
My favorite part about living a healthy lifestyle is the response I get from others. People are amazed I am as old as I am and as active as I am.
If you could give one piece of health advice to your kids, what would it be and why?
Stay active. Never completely retire or stop living and moving. Keep your mind and body young and fit by playing chess and exercising.
Who’s daily routine would you most love to see?
I would love to see Tony Robbins’ routine. To put on seminars back-to-back of 12 hour days is amazing.
Describe your sleep ritual.
I brush my teeth, floss, and I use a Eucalyptus spray on my sheets every night- this helps me relax. I sometimes eat a peppermint and that helps my mouth feel refreshed.
What’s your biggest wellness challenge?
My biggest wellness challenge is actually eating enough throughout the day. I am trying to gain lean muscle mass and I need to add more calories to my diet.
What about your “O” do you think is unique?
I think my schedule is unique because it shows that you don’t have to neglect personal goals while upkeeping work goals. There are enough hours in the day to accomplish what’s important.
