Episode 22: Dr Taylor Burrowes, PhD, Mental Health Coach
Dr. Burrowes has 14 years of clinical mental health and marriage/family experience and a PhD in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling. She was licensed in Florida as a mental health counselor and marriage and family therapist until April 2019, but she decided to officially leave health care and continue providing value through coaching for the mutual benefit of her clients and herself. In this episode we dive into what makes healthy relationships and how coaching can help with mental health.

Bob is a New York City-based technology entrepreneur, biohacker, and self-quantification geek focused on the intersection of data-driven citizen science, health and wellness, human performance, longevity, and personal optimization. “Hack, track, analyze, optimize, rinse, repeat,” comes from his background in software development, where concepts such as iterative software development and “lean startup” methodology have emerged. He seeks to not only continuously gain new insights about himself, but also challenge and reshape previously held beliefs.
Episode 20: Anushka Patchava MD, Population and Digital Health Expert
Dr Anushka is a Cambridge medical graduate who is currently working at Aetna. Outside of work, her interests are embedded in the three C’s: CrossFit (power-lifting), charity (she is a dedicated volunteer, founder and fund-raiser) and creations (be it artwork or social enterprise apps). She has advised a variety of health related startups on their journey to commercialization and is most invigorated by this sort of work. In 2003, aged 18, she was the second youngest person to complete the London Marathon — making it around the course in under 5 hours despite fracturing her knee joint at 8 miles! She continues to be active all year round, summiting mountains (most recently SE Asia’s tallest; Mt Kinabalu) and at national powerlifting competitions amongst other things! She is a leader in the field of population health and is exploring blockchain and AI solutions for healthcare.
Episode 19: Aaliya Yaqub, MD (@clearskindoc), Physician, Skin Expert and Technology Entrepreneur
Known as @clearskindoc on Instagram, Dr. Aaliya Yaqub has amassed a large following as an influencer. She is board-certified in internal medicine with a fellowship in dermatology and an adjunct clinical professor at Stanford. Aaliya is very active in Silicon Valley and the Health tech startup space. Formerly part of the founding team at Forward health, she later worked at Facebook as part of the medical team. Currently she is an advisor to several startups and has also founded startups herself. Having an interest and expertise in skin health we discuss a range of skin-related topics, the emerging field of beauty tech, her journey into startups as well as living a healthy life.
