What gets you out of bed every morning?
The will to create a better me than I was yesterday.
What is the most important part of your daily routine?
Take time for good food. While everything around us is taking place faster and faster we have to make sure we fuel our bodies in the best possible way in order to cope with stress and other external influences.
What about your “O” do you think is unique or special?
I love my after lunch sleep time. It gives me a moment to myself and gets me ready for another training session.
What is the best piece of health advice you’ve ever received?
Be good to yourself and learn to read your body’s language. There’s time for hard training and there’s time for recovery – according to a German saying: “a lot doesn’t always help a lot”

Describe your sleep ritual.
I try to give my body time to relax after my last training session of the day. The idea is to gradually reduce external stimuli before heading to bed. After laying down I normally read a few pages.
What is your favorite part about living a healthy lifestyle?
When I first started to become interested in the topic, I found that it gives me so much more than I ever expected. I soon felt more awake, happier and even more alert, too. It gave me a good feeling being inside my body and helped me become more self-aware.
If you could give one piece of health advice to your future kids, what would it be?
Stay curious. Be open to new things. Always make up your own mind and form your opinion. There are different ways to lead a happy, successful and healthy life. Give people, cultures and different types of food a chance to become your most favorite one.
